I was asked to help warm up the kids for their annual “Earths Magnet School Fun Run”. The theme was “Fun In The Sun” so 3 other Dads plus myself dressed up as Malibu Lifeguards in red shorts, whistles and wicker hats to warm up and stretch every grade (grades Kindergarten through 5th) for about 5 minutes before they walked onto the Fun Run obstacle course.
We took them through some basic calisthenics and stretching, with each grade getting more rigorous–it was an hour and a half of circuit training for me and my new lifeguard buddies!!
